Courtney Foshee: Owner/Director

Courtney's love for dance began at age two when she attended her very first Ballet and Tap class at the Cullman Civic Center. From age seven to eighteen, she danced competitively throughout the Southeast. Competition dance gave her the opportunity to learn from award winning choreographers and highly acclaimed dancers.

After graduating from Cullman High School, Courtney went on to study the Art of Dance and Business at Troy University. While in Troy, she was accepted, by audition, into Troy's Dance Repertory Ensemble (TDRE). With TDRE, she studied ballet and modern contemporary under the direction of Tracy Gilland Shillabeer, contemporary and jazz from former Bad Boy of Dance, Patrick Pugh, and the art of ballet from world-renowned Director and Ballet Master, Elie Lazar; along with many other dance and theatre classes and performances in various genres including heels, hip hop, and tap. She was chosen by John Mark Owns to perform a Pas De Deux in the TDRE Winter Showcase and honored by Elie Lazar to perform a solo to a poem monologue in TDRE's Juxdeposed Concert.

As the owner of Courtney’s Dance Artistry, Courtney has put on over a decade's worth of shows and events. Her Elite Competition Team has received awards for choreography and creative concepts, costume and prop designs, and highest ranking adjudication awards.

Courtney is the proud wife of Veteran Army National Guard Sergeant Kyle Wester Foshee who helps keep Cullman County safe as a full time Deputy with Cullman County Sheriff's Office. Courtney and Kyle are the proud parents of Clara Jane Foshee and Evelyn Kate Foshee.

Elise Stanfield: Co-Director/Teacher

Elise graduated from the University of North Alabama in 2024 with a B.S. in English and minor in Creative Writing. She loves writing and the performing arts because it gives her and outlet to express her creativity and connect with an audience through storytelling. Elise's dance journey with Courtney began with taking classes from her at age five, joining CDA's competition team at age nine, and continuing to dance at CDA until she graduated high school.

After high school, Elise transitioned into becoming a teacher at CDA, and she is currently the Co-Director. The training she received from CDA has equipped her to create award winning choreography and high scoring routines. Elise's greatest reward, though, is the bond she has been able to form with her students and getting to witness their growth. Elise aims to inspire them to tap into their passion for dance and to chase that dream wherever God takes them!

Elise has been able to pursue a career in teaching dance through her husband Robert's support, and is extremely grateful to know that he is always cheering her and her students on!

Whitney Randolph: Teacher

Whitney and her daughter Chloe Mae have been at CDA since Chloe started dancing at age three. She has loved watching Chloe grow as a dancer on CDA's Elite Competition Team.

Whitney grew up as a competitive gymnast traveling to competitions all over the state and surrounding states for five years. After that, she coached competitive gymnastics and tumbling classes for several years before taking a break to raise her family. She and her husband Brian have three children: Chloe Mae and her two brothers, Conner and Caleb.

Whitney teaches Acro and Conditioning classes at CDA and loves watching her students grow and try new things.
